Not really an accomplishment, to tell the truth.

Honestly, I am kind of tired of FPS in general. The only reason why I play BOPS is because my friends have BOPS and the only time I play it is with them.

Is their anything compelling about this sequel for me to buy it? I bought the first one and was underwhelmed. It hurt my eyes. THE GAME IS WAY TOO BROWN!!!

Lost Planet 2, on the other hand, is very colorful and had Helghast costumes too.

Well, if the footage I saw was any indication of their want to changes things up... this game should be much more visually diverse. There's snow and stuff...

If it is anything like Killzone 2, the singleplayer is a one day demo to familiarize yourself with the controls, while the multiplayer is the only thing adding longevity to the game.

@ Wong, haha Modern Warefare 2...AND 1 had better graphics and better gameplay than Black Ops. Ever since Infinity Ward left, it's gone downhill for the COD series. And the zombies don't compensate for it either.

The second game had a low color pallet too from what I've heard, but it still had better graphics than MW2. Killzone's storyline is much better, imo.

I loved LP2. It was a great break from Killzone.

I can't find the opening cinematic vid. but it looked like it was cut so I think they might revise it. Brian Cox was in it too.

Tried the beta with some bots after a few failed attempts to connect. It does seem a bit faster and more responsive than KZ2 and the accuracy on the guns seemed to be a resolved issue. That said, while it is still graphically beautiful, it still felt like most of the guns I was using were fighting back, making it a bit awkward and still nowhere near as solid as the CoD games. Also, I pray they fix the voice acting. The voices in the beta, especially the Helghast announcer, were absolutely laughable.
Will rent for the single player story, but MP will have to wait and see.

Misk, just so you know, I was never impressed with MW2 either. In my opinion, CoD4 was THE masterpiece the IW has ever developed and Activision ever published. The Battlefield series on the other hand has always been great.

I might give this game a try. A rent for sure.
