There is no language filter, but keep any swearing MATURE AND MODERATE.

Well said Darksword. If I may elaborate a bit further...
Any post consisting of swear words simply because you can = very bad.
Any post containing swear words as a way of dramatic expression that would seem valid once thoroughly thought out = okay.
Of course, if you're using swear words as the only way of dramatic expression, then you're not really trying, so that = bad.
Basically, if it doesn't feel right, don't do it.

Okay, what I DON'T want to see is people using swear words as insults. Hell, I don't want to see any insults period, but using swearing to do it is liable to get you in even more trouble. However, any time you feel that it's necessary to use a swear word (which should NOT intended to be particularly offensive to any group or ethnicity, keep in mind), you won't face disciplinary action as long as you're moderate and reasonable. The one area where pretty much anything goes is quotations. It's unlikely you will face disciplinary action from using a quotation, so long as the quotation stands by itself and isn't intended as a political or social commentary. So, say, if you were quoting from Huckleberry Finn it would be far more acceptable to use certain words which, under pretty much any other circumstances, would NOT be acceptable. It's a complex issue, which is why I haven't gotten around to writing the rules out yet... However, rest assured that as long as you don't do anything blatantly fucktarded you should be fine.
