Well aftyer my Birthday my spending money has just increased greatly. So I plan on adding another portion to my anime collection.

The problem is.....what.

Here are my ideas:

I can finish up my Evangelion collection by getting the last 2 DVDs and then wait a bit for the movies.

I can also continue with my Outlaw Star by getting the 2nd DVD.

I believe its about time I gave back what I took by buying the .hack//SIGN DVDs. Least I could do for downloading all 26 episodes last year. Plus I don't mind watching it again.

or I can go with something new.

My list includes

El Hazard

Inuyasha

Yu-Yu Hakusho

Lost Universe

Burn Up W! is on the list but not exactly up there. My friend keeps pressuring me to get it. But he doesn't have it himself and he's into the...darker side of anime if you will.

Gatekeepers

and thats all I've got.

Anyone care to reccomend(sp) any of the above? Or perhaps recomend something else? My genre used to be on the Sci Fi side but the sword fighting mystical magic is also my thing.

Symphony of Destruction
Inuyasha is a massive series. Rivaling DBZ and Ranma 1/2, and there are only a few DVDs out now, so if you were to start on it with any intention of finishing you'd be waiting quite awhile.

I'd probably advise finishing up what you've started on before moving to something new.

From what I've heard, El Hazard is pretty good. Like SoD said, InuYasha has quite a lot of episodes, as does Yu Yu Hakusho (112, to be exact).

I'd go with the Evangelion DVD's. If you're like me, then you'd hate to just leave it unfinished like that. biggrin.gif

Also, try looking at your local BB to see if any of those are there. Mine has a wide selection that has saved me quite a few purchases (Excel Saga, Sakura Wars, Hellsing, GTO, etc).

Inuyasha is very, very big. There's still 4 story arcs to go for the anime, and it's already at 122 episodes. It'll probably break 200 by the time it finishes.

I would go with something a bit more managable. Id reccommend something else from your list, but I havent seen anything on it except IY and YYH.

I don't intend to buy the entire series. I'm going for the later episodes. YYH Dark Tournement Finals and IY's Later episodes which are coming on now.

El Hazard i've only seen some short reviews of but it looks pretty good.

I also am wondering about Gasaraki as it fits into my Sci Fi interests.

In any case, i'm leaning toward EL-Hazard at the moment. Safe buy or should I pass on it?
