This anime has characters based on the Chinese Zodiac, and they even act like the creatures. For example, one of the characters (I forgot his name) acts just like a snake from the chinese zodiac. It's really funny to watch and it's worth buying. I have 10 episodes so far, but I know that there are more...

I love Fruits Basket, one of my favorites.

I found this show moderately entertaining but nothing special. Though all of the characters make occasional forays into likableness, none of them really stay there for any length of time. The series in its entirety is mediocre, but there are 2 standout moments: One being Momiji's story app. 2/3rds of the way into the series, and the other being the last two episodes. I do not feel that it's worth slogging through all 26 just for those moments, but they sure were cool when I saw them.
Oh, and Uotani is cool. Too bad there's almost none of her in the series.
