This show is weirder than FLCL and makes no sense. I just finished watching episode 1 and couldn't help but laugh at several parts. Like the head boos just sitting in his throne strumming the guitar, then throwing to the ground showing he was reading a "Learn the Guitar easy".

The opening theme is pretty catchy and the Menchi song is kinda amusing too. So was the intro to Menchi!

I'm not sure what exactly happened since it seems that the show reset several times.

Yeah, my girlfriend seems to adore that show. Apparently it calms down quite a bit in the next episode. I'll probably wind up having to watch it at some point.

From what I've heard though, Project A-ko is a more intellectual show than ES

The show is actually quite funny most of the time, in a crazy and kooky way. Zany insaneness, don't worry, you'll get a feel for all different characters after a couple episodes. There's so many because it's a saga.

To be honest, I so don't care for ES. I liked it okay when I first started watching it, then lost interest about halfway through... At which point I saw FLCL, which totally blew me away and really drove home what ES was lacking. You know, plot, characters, that stuff.

I agree with Kobel, ES was lacking when it got to the middle of the whole story. The characters and such just stayed the same (becoming static), and the plot was lacking in being funny, IMHO.

How many times can Hyatt die? Does she have like an auto-rez on her somewhere? I mean it was kinda funny at first but now....not much of a punchline. I'm on episode 10 right about now.
