I've been on a recent kick of listening to these "oldies." Overall, the majority of the stuff is crap from one hit wonders, but it's fun to pseudo-jam in the car along with your friends... or at least that's what I do.
Spinning the Spinal Tap:
Twisted Sister - "I Want to Rock" "We're Not Gonna Take it"
Ratt - "Round and Round"
Dio - "Holy Diver" "Rainbow in the Dark"
Quiet Riot - "C'mon Feel the Noise" "Bang Your Head"
Scorpions - "Rock You like a Hurricane" "No One like You"
Survivor - "Eye of the Tiger"
Warrant - "Cherry Pie"
Judas Priest - "You've got Another Thing Comin'" "Breakin' the Law" "Living After Midnight" (now, JP does rock, and Halford doesn't have any hair, but I consider these three pretty Butt Rock-ish)
Def Leppard - "Pour Some Sugar on Me" "Armageddon it"
Whitesnake - "Here I Go Again on My Own"
So, what famous hair bands and their awful/good songs can you think of?

Iron Maiden - Two Minutes to Midnight
Van Halen - You Really Got Me, Atomic Punk
Not much else coming to mind since you got a good chunk. Reads like a what's what from
Vice City's VROCK.

Judas Priest - Riding on the Wind(best JP song ever, IMO)
Judas Priest - Jugulator(the other best JP song ever, IMO)
Motley Crue - Kickstart my Heart
Motley Crue - Girls, Girls, Girls!(Hmm, I think I'll go listen to that right now)
Anything off of Rust in Peace... Polaris by Megadeth(ok, it's thrash, but it's still good). Countdown to Extinction is pretty damn good, too.
Erm... that's pretty much all I can think of off the top of my head. I've been on a Power/Symphonic Metal kick recently, so I haven't been listening to this as much.

Ah the VROCK. I swear I went through a big 80s music relapse after playing VC.. And this thread makes me want to play it if only for the sake of shooting pedestrians while listening to this stuff...

Ah, the Vice City radio...

Aerosmith, anything from Permanent Vacation...
Cinderella, "Don't Know What You Got ('Til It's Gone)"
Poison, Skid Row, Gods, I can't name them all. This was my heyday! I graduated in '88.

Another 88 grad!

Well you beat me to the Aerosmith punch. There were plenty others though as that was the hey day of Rock. Hell you could probably name 50 bands if you tried as they were coming out of the wood work. I still jam to the classic 80's. That includes Rock and Rap. The 80's was a great time for Rap too.

Oh, hell, my guilty pleasures in Rap were Salt N Pepa, Eazy E, 2 Live Crew...yes, the nasty stuff!
That's what I listened to when I was feeling especially rebellious!

Deny Queen, deny life.
Queen - Highlander Soundtrack
Queen - Bohemian Rhapsody

Journey - The Wheel in the Sky
Side Note: These guys are just good eighties listening music:
Phill Collins
The Police
I don't care what you guys say about him, back in the day he was a badass: Micheal Jackson. Beat It, Bad, even his later stuff was good. My personal fav: Thriller.

Journey, Queen, Judas Priest, Van Halen and Deff Leppard are all groups I like and listen to. I like Leppard out of all of those the most. I've heard most of all the famous 80's-70's rock bands.
