SPOILERS!!

Today was the last episiode in .hack//SIGN right? So....Tsukasa is free now? Was Sora turned into Skeith and trapped inside the game, or was he simply data-drained by Skeith and is now in a coma? Is Aura free to do as she wishes for the time being in The World or what?

Sorry...just having a little trouble understanding what just happened. blink.gif

The Twilight has begun.
Skeith's the first one up to bat. Sora was Data Drained and now is in lala land. Sora is not Skeith nor is he what summonded Skeith. Think of Skeith as one of 8 hands of Morganna.

Aura can't do anything while the current head of "The World" doesn't feel like leaving. Thus Aura is kinda stuck running away. Not to mention Morganna has an overbearing mother complex and wishes to do everything possible to protect Aura.
Don't ask.

Tsukasa is out of there. However she won't be gone for long.

So that's how it was resolved. I thought .hack//sign was a great series that made you think. It's one downfall for me was the slow plot progression that allowed me to skip episodes without really loosing track of the general situation. And the wierd music. I think there was a scene where Sora and Krim fight and some sort of country music is playing in the background. But otherwise I thought it was excellent, a good concept.

Everyone is shocked when I say I hated Subaru the most. Alot of the time people didn't like Silver Knight. Yet I kinda agreed with him when he tore into Subaru that one episode. The way she was going about things with the Crimson Knights, their was bound to be problems over how much authority they had. She ranted about how the Knights were Justice without power. However the problem with that is they would be asked to deal with a problem, and they would ask the trouble maker to stop, then if they don't, the knights report him to the system admin.....now think about that for a second. Any player can report to the admin. That being the case...what is the purpose of the knights then? And if they aren't going to get directly involved, why are they bothring to go after other players doing "bad things"? What would they have done if the Knights tracked down Maha? Ask him not to fool around with the coding of their character or else be reported? That doesn't make much sense.

Actually I never knew what power the Knights were exercising over the wrongdoers. They're just players, they're not Admin's right? You can only player-kill so many times. But that girl Subaru also annoyed me because she sort of, didn't do anything for the most part.

To tell you the truth, outside of Bear, Sora, Crim, and BT I really didn't like anyone in the series. All anyone ever did (aside from the previously mentioned people) was whine and pout. I really have to agree with you on Subaru though. What class is she? Did she ever even fight, or was he time just spent spewing out random ideals and pity speeches?

Oh, BTW, Isn't Maha supposed to be one of the phases, or did I read the Epitaph wrong? (He was in there right, or am I thinking of something else that starts with an M....apart from Magus)
Rattan
Maha is a phase. However she wasn't really a phase during SIGN. They have to go in a certain order. So it wasn't the true Maha. But then again it was.

Subaru just pisses me off. If you saw the episode dedicated to her, you see she is not a gamer. She is a heavy Axe class and i doubt she was even level 10 or above. She only played to move around freely. However she didn't start going on about keeping the peace until Crim met her. She is a strong girl in spirit. But never really did anything herself. Kinda funny eh? But she was useless. Hell at the end when Tsukasa met the fake Subaru, he actually believed she was the real thing. So Subaru didn't really have that much impact on Tsukasa. Tsukasa meets fake Mimiru, bam, he can tell she isn't the real thing.

She's the equivalent of Yamcha in DBZ. Doesn't ever do...anything.
Kobel
Um, I think that's an overly simplistic interpretation. I mean, if she hadn't been there then Tsukasa would have stayed in that hidden space indefinitely, she was the only reason Tsukasa left. Essentially, her role was that of emotional support. I think that for the Knights she was more of a mascot than anything else, someone for them to rally behind.
Well, anyway, the appeal of that show doesn't really lie in its characters. Only a few of them are particularly cool.

Well that's because she's that girl in a wheelchair in the end, right? She can't walk anymore so she walks around ingame.

I have some questions:

What is the "enemy"? Really. I'm not sure whether it is a virus or some sort of digitized being. She seems to have a motherly side, and an easily angered side.

What is Krim's relation to Subaru? I remember him talking to her like he knew her IRL.

So was Bear married to BT? IRL. Somehow I got that impression. I also got the impression Mimiru was related to him in some way, maybe his daughter or something.

What did that, thing, do to Sora in the last episode? Is he dead, or in a coma?

The enemy is the world itself. Morganna fears that when Aura awakens, she will have no further purpose and cease to exist. No idea about Krim and Subaru's relation or Bear and BT's relation. Skeith data drained Sora. He trapped his consciousness inside of his staff. Sora is in a coma. .hack//outbreak should be out well..actually now if that rhino's I went to earlier today really did have it up there. Sora'll be brought back during that part of the .hack games.

I'm kinda sad we don't get to see Omega Server for too long. As you can see from the pcitures, they needed a new Root town...and you know where that is.
