The napalm rockets ALMOST saved Mr. Broken against the tank. Each battle, particularly towards the end, was a grim life or death struggle between the heavies. Broken would take off to a good start each match with MG800/NM jousts and high-angles, but the machinegun ran flat before really crippling the tank, which was just bristling to the point of stupidity with heavy firepower. Eventually the chaingun jousting, grenade overheats, and eventually desperate SRF fire would reverse the tide.

I expected Moose Dragon's mix of energy/shotgun to push it close to victory, but no such luck. The AC's drain is still far too high to deal with a high-pressure MG offense backed up by WAKE boosters and such a stupid amount of armor. In a stationary test, Moose had easily enough ammo to kill Mr.Broken... but making it a reality was ridiculously hard.

The first match against Heavykiller caught Space Pirat totally offguard, while for me it just let me put into practice what I had been trying in theory with Moose Dragon... Mr Broken was horribly vulnerable to circling and energy damage, Heavykiller excelled at both. With each shot knocking off something like 250-300 AP the Karasawa was up to the task of shooting the heavy down without assistance. Battle two saw me run out of ammunition and gunned down trying to finish the battle with blade-jousting. The third battle I swore was going to end in favor of the heavy, but there was a lot of peekaboo to be played over and under the ledge around the central arena section and Karasawa's huge first-shot damage overcame the lack of running room.

Undefeated.
Moose Dragon got to make a good showing in the complex terrain of the Snowy Field, but on the flat plain, the sniper rifle kept my tank in the game until the end. A particularly unlucky run-in with CNG300 ended the second match (same area) early. In the caves, the tank worked cover and walls better than the RJ and came out with a big win.

Heavykiller almost had wins out in the open, but the excellent armament on the tank... SRFX again... proved too accurate and damaging for the hover's thin hide. In the Aerial Ruins, too much flight bogged the hover down and some good grenade shots ended his chances early.

Moose Dragon scored a shutout against the other light AC. XCD easily caught the hover at its fastest, and GSL spoke up for lots of extra damage. The MALUM extensions allowed forced refreshes to keep up the pace, and in the end the Karasawa was brought down by combined gunfire.

I had some high hopes for this AC and was at least pleased to see them ALMOST come to life. Many losses were quite narrow to all three ACs. IMO this AC will work as advertized given some specialized practice with it. May I suggest something other than MOONLIGHT however? Those left-arm napalm rockets would be a much safer way to end a match.
