Shoot. What day is the 12th? If you are that desperate for volunteers I'll go. Of course I'll need a donated design to try out. Anything with lots of firepower, different types and ranges. Machine gun, sniper, and close-medium range missiles... something like that. The reason is that I don't own Nexus, but if you really want help in representing... I can wipe the rust off my old battle saber.

Shaun, you have my phone number right? If anything... even if he doesn't go, I'd like to meet at Kannon's house and then go from there. I don't know the way to anyone else's house by heart. We can just meet outside and park our cars and stuff. I don't know where Ben lives, so if someone can please get him? Or maybe give me directions when we meet up.

You see, I'm writing a twenty page research paper. It's looking like I'm going to need all the time I have to get it done on time.

I do not think it would only be an hour. Normally, we just sit around waiting for people to make their designs. I just don't have the time for that.

Millefune: I do not have your number. Perhaps a PM or something. Meeting outside of Kannon's shouldn't be a problem. As for Ben, I only have a vague general idea of where he lives. So while I could identify the house as you drive down his street, I don't know how to get to that point. You'd have to ask him for an address.

joust: How long have you been working on that paper? I remember from the one I had last spring that the research is what takes up the most time. Organizing your notes and information to the different sections of the paper, blah blah blah... Oh well.

I've been working on it since the beginning of the semester. The sad part is that the professor is extremely anal about using proper format, citation and theoretical analysis. The theory is the worst part about the paper, as I think there's pretty much an infinite amount of research that must be done.

The basic problem is that if I went to Scottish Rites, it would break my day up quite a bit. I'm really going to need my weekend to get this stuff done.

If something changes and I make big time progress on my paper, I'll let you guys know.

Well, Kannon told me that he MIGHT go since it's going to be early and before the Halo 2 tournament. We should get out of there by 12:30pm to 1:00pm since it starts at 11:00am. I'm going to his house a bit early for "brunch". You're all welcome to join us if you'd like. I plan on being there around 9am at the latest. Which means I'll be leaving my house at around 8am to make it on time. See you all soon.

Anyway, I think they open pretty early. So we should get there at around 10:15 (or earlier) or so. It shouldn't take you guys more than, from Stockton, 15 minutes to get to the Scottish Rites center.

Bah, I got held up at the house this morning and didn't make it. Besides which, everybody else met up early and went to some restaurant. Between Kannon, Ben, and Eric I would have gotten smashed anyhow. Sorry. I need to collect up some extra funds before I can get Nexus. Game + router = $100.

Besides which my computer is no longer near my PS2, so I don't know if I'd even get a signal through the floor and whatnot. Its only a slight bother. Sorry I couldn't try your design, but I probably wouldn't have done it much justice.

The tournament was gay as fuck. Ben won because Kannon was screwing around with a Parry Blade, and got stuck with a black and white TV. I beat Eric, but then he went and cheated with a faggit-ass MG-Arms/E2/JIREN Hover. Then we had to go before the Halo 2 crowed lynched us for going a little bit past 12 pm.

Oh, and Eric blew $300 on a Mox Saphire.

Actually Gooneybird spread his wings tonight, albeit briefly, for some matches with Sandman. I am extremely encouraged by his performance. He will have to work quite hard against light snipers (Alain, are you listening?), but he still has an extremely solid game plan IMO. Unfortunately his creator/pilot will have a hard row to hoe making him perform to potential, but unquestionably the AC itself has legs.

Thanks for the update Masamune. () I can't believe Kannon actually tried to win with the Parry Blade glitch. I give him props just for trying, but also I'm glad he didn't get away with it for the #1 spot.

Ben, when you see this, can you post your winning AC in Concept? Or just note it in the existing thread. My guess is Interceptor or Kitsune, probably money on Interceptor. Please spill the beans.
