What: Raven's of Texas Tournament

When: December 27-28, 2003.
10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Where: Cyberzone (in Dallas)

Entry Fee: 25 dollars (that way if few people show, we get a still decent amount, if many show, the price will be reduced)

Prize: 5 dollars from everyone goes towards food, the rest goes to each tournament (5 dollars towards each tournament)

If events end ahead of schedule, times may be changed

10:00 to 11:30 - Free Play/Practice time to begin everything
11:30 to 1:30 - Non Op-I tourney
1:30 to 3:30 - Op-I tourney
3:30 to 5:30 - *Street Tourney
5:30 to 7:30 - **Team Tourney
7:30 to 8:00 - Clean-up/inventory

Tournament Rules

1-Entry fee is 25 dollars, maybe less. This must
be paid at the door. No pay no play. That way we are
sure that all the money is accounted for.

2- All players must sign in under their real and AC
pilot names. (this will go with the spreadsheet)

3- All controllers, PS2's, game copies, memory cards,
and link cables must be labeled with the owners name.
Some how I ended up with someone else's controller
last time. Players must bring AT minimum there games,
controllers, and memory cards (people who can bring there
PS2 try and bring them)

4- Names will be drawn at random out of a hat or other
such suitable container to determine the match ups for
each segment of the tourney.

5-Best three out of five rounds wins match.

6-no banned weapons or weapon combos or part or part
combos except for OPI and Crow.

7- Please dress nicely pictures will be taken.

8-Food and drink expenses and prize money are covered
by the entry fee.

9- Dreadlord MAY be able to make or get made first
second and third place trophies. No promises, though,
He will have to find out if a certain friend still works
at the trophy shop.



Tournament Battle Rules:

1-Both Normal and Hard difficulties allowed

2-Data screens are allowed

3-First map is chosen randomly

4-All other maps can be chosen by any method the two opponents chose.
*if opponents cannot agree on any one method, then the loser of the last round picks.

5-No time limit, if i see a person constantly running away, they will forfeit that round (not match), only i will make that call.

6-An AC switch can be made between tourneys
- from the time your garage is opened, you have 1 minute to press R1 or L1 to switch your AC.
- All time between matches will be monitored, for the sake of fairness and time.

On the team battle, if people do not cooperate in picking partners, people will be assigned partners through by picking #'s in a hat, people with matching #'s will be partners.

TV's will be supplied by Cyberzone, and so will a FEW PS2's (still gonna need people to bring 8 PS2's total though).

*This tournament is more of a "anything goes" tourney. All rules that can be ignored will be ignored. All arenas are pickable. This means that CROW can be used, Op-I and non Op-I are both options, and you can even turn off your data screens if you feel like it. This is being used more as a test for the CROW, to see how many people would use it, and how it would affect the outcome (considering the fact that it is neutered).

**Yes, we're are going through with this one. If you have a teammate that you know you want to fight with, talk to us and we'll get it setup. Otherwise, teammates will be randomly chosen (we'll throw names in a hat or something). Only legals are allowed. Crow is allowed.

Yea, Daniel, its a group effoet by me and several other TX raven's. I wish you could attend, but, TX is way more than 5 hrs away! lol There should be several tournies near you in the near future. Just keep an eye out.
