I've heard rumors about this since my days back on ON, and since I dont go there anymore. I was wondering if Feedback, or another fan like Ky Kiske could give me insight.
I was sniffing around the net, and I caught notice of a pseudo official anime [short (i think)] film.
My knowledge of what comes out of Japan is severly limited. Up until a couple weeks ago I had no idea that they were making a FFVII movie.

As far as I know, the only anime for GG is the short film included with GG:XX for the PS2. The animation is alright but the voice acting is totally horrible. Ky Kiske, the character in the video, is so obviously voiced by a computer nerd that it offends the ears to hear it.
Unless someone else knows of some actual anime for the GG series.

Yeah, I saw that one. The voicing is pretty shitty.
They could've at least played the game to get an idea of the voice.
Ky has a lisp (well, this we knew).
Testament is British (unnaceptable IMO).
Sol sounds like an 80s teen movie badguy.
Even the narrator sounds a little corny.
Shoulda left it in Japanese.
Nevertheless, the animation is pretty impressive, though I remember them saying this "anime" would not be produced by the same people.

*Talks with his teeth clenched shut*
"You let her live! HAH! Yer such a boyscout!"
My personal favorite?
"God? I dun want anything with him!"
There is NO Guilty Gear Anime, only the shorts. We've been over this with newbies on ON over and over again.
But S9, you'll be interested to know that even if Guilty Gear X2 wasn't GOOD ENOUGH to buy, you might like Guilty Gear Isuka, which is a 4v4 Guilty Gear with sideways movement and insane MvC style fights.
*On a side note, why did they leave May's voice in Japanese? It's a spoiler, although not really surprising, that May is Japanese, and it is revealed when she's beaten by Justice. (Who says, "Dirty Japanese. I thought they had all died out.")*

I know, but I had read it through a translation of a Japanese site.
It did catch my attention, and given the fact that if it were to come to pass, even you would be salivating. Therefore, it needs verification.
I'm well aware there is no GG anime (duh), but that's not to say there never will be.

Well while it would be cool to see a Guilty Gear anime, chances are it would be as bad as the Tekken anime.
As for Guilty Gear Isuka, I dunno when it comes out, and little about the game itself, save for a few sparce facts:
It will have 2 on 2 max fights, so you can have (I think) 3 on 1 fights, etc. I'd so love to play as Justice and smack down Sol, Ky and Kliff at the same time. *Gamma Ray*
There are really well drawn new stages. I see there is a new Johnny stage in which you're on the ground for once and fighting underneath one of the airships being repaired. The Japan stage is a scaffolding with lots of wood planks and some sort of structure in the back with Japanese items, I think there's a mask hanging there, or maybe a gong. Anyways there are pictures on Orochinagi.
Characters get new moves and lateral movement is possible. Now people who are irratated by May's fullscreen Yamada attack being spammed twice in a row can relish in dodging towards the foreground and walking around instead of having to waste a Psych Burst.
One bad thing however. There are no new characters. But I think it's really an add-on to Guilty Gear X2 if anything. Guilty Gear X2 Reloaded was unbalenced apparently, and Guilty Gear X2 is currently the champ.

I haven't heard or seen much in the way of Guilty Gear Isuka, just a few screenshots. But I hope that they have new character portraits. The ones from GGX2 were rather... ugly. Millia looked like a man, and Bridget = drug addict.
