Let me start off by saying that when I first played AC3, it blew me away. These people have made some great art, to go with a great game, and it just keeps getting better.
If you care, the Armored Core 3 songs where done by mostly Tsukasa Saitoh, then Kota Hoshino and Yuki Ichiki. They way they put those hymns and orchastral style into the music was just beautiful.
Then Came Silnet Line, these songs were all done by Tsukasa Saitoh. Amazing effort. Here the songs became even more orchastral, I loved it so much.
I don't know who did the earlier Armored Core music, if you know please let me know, and if you have the song names attached to any .mp3s of yours, I'd love to know that too.

I like techno, but I don't like Armored Core's music as a rule. AC2 had terrible music. AC3 and SL were ok, but the original series of AC had some catchy music. But none of AC's music is the kind I'd listen to.

I'm with Soul Shinobi, the orchestral and vocal electronica on AC3 and SL are rather moving. Any song with that synthisized violin rocks my boat.
Though few songs beat the opening for MoA.

I liked the Silent Line theme music the best. It's just badass, especially when you're flying around at top speed with the RAY core.
But the best theme of all was 9-Ball's theme from MoA IMO.

Yeah, Saturn9, I find that in general, string instruments go great in techno, that includes piano.
If you, or anyone else is interested, I've ripped the music from every single AC game into .mp3 format. If you have AIM and a good connection, I wouldn't mind sharing. I only have the song names for AC3 and SL though.
Or, maybe if you like, if you want all of them at once, I could burn you a CD and mail it to you, for free. This is something I've done before, and I don't mind doing it, I get CDRs and CD cases for nothing, I just need to buy some big envalopes right now...

psch, all you need is a dvd-rom on your computer and to search for ps2 ac_gui on google and you too can get any and all music from the armored core games that are on the ps2 (and probably anything else from fromsoftware...'course, the damn thing does not work on other games due to all the music files being encrypted in a .bin file that I can't figure out how to decrypt)

Hey you can do the same damn thing if you're not lazy. All of PP and AC1's music is on MoA and all that requires is psmplay to rip it. As for AC2 through SL well..you just find it via a dvd-rom, ps2_ac gui, and stuff like that. It all gets ripped as wave so you just use mediamatch jukebox and it's convert function to make 128kbps mp3s. Done and Done, you have all of the AC soundtrack on your computer. 'Course if you don't have MoA...well, that can cause problems.

Or Soul Shinobi could transfer them to me, and I could also transfer 'em to whoever wanted 'em.
