If they made something like an "Ultimate Rumblng Pack" for the PS3 and Xbox 360 it would be so sweet! It would come with PC and SLAI, with more enhaced graphics, and songs from both of them. It could be kinda like Megman 5 DS, where you could go to wild machines on a certain day, and a PC/SLAI compatible SV from the other version then the one you were playing could be bought for a VERY high price! (By compatible I mean mods and SV types in both)
Tell me if you think that would be awesome or not.
Blue God
I think that it is an excellent idea! This could mean that I could use a lot of more weapons for the SVs. Also it could result in insane combinations for the SVs. I would hope that in the pack that the difficultly would be lessened by a little amount so that there would be fairness to the noobs and still be challenging to experienced players as well.
Shadow2321
Hey, maybe there could be a select difficulty when you start you're file! happy.gif
Drachenmaster
That idea sounds amazing. Maybe the pack could even have more parts added (like new ones) and maybe have the mods change in look depending on how you tune them (like more armor and more ammo shown on the part itself). Now I know this next suggestion is in the AC series, but maybe have an orbital laser launcher on the SV's. I've been thinking of new stuff that I'd love to see in SLAI for a while now. biggrin.gif
nacota
please no orbital lazer cannons. keep that to ac but i would like to see arms that would alow you to grab a enemy instead of punching or slashing.

Grabbing arms would be great.... then you could do the thing the Carro did in the introductory trailer....when he grabbed the Proton SV and shot it in the stomach.... awesome. biggrin.gif
Shadow2321
Also some of the stuff in thaat topic listing wat should be changed thats too complicated for the PS2 could be it, because it would be on next-gen consoles. And Hey! I just realized with the little buy-over system, you might be ble to get a Charga, because OMSK DID make it after all...

If I can do that then I could grab two SVs, bash them against each other, and then throw them to who knows where. laugh.gif
Shadow2321
That would be cool to see/do, unless you're one of the ones getting bashed together....
Blue God
If you are the one that gets bashed, watch the Armor drop when it was done with a +99 grabbing arm.
PENGUIN
How about traps? Like, if you stand at a certain spot it triggers something like missiles or mini guns or God know what else?
Blue God
If that could happen, then what about quicksand in Cairo? I don't know if the feature is effective though.
Shadow2321
I think it could make you stick unless you jamp out, if not, you're a sitting duck. Your safe if yu have hovers, tho, but there could be dust devils to screw them over, while wheels/legs would be safe.
Sphinx
How about little hidden EMP spots in the arena that change places randomly but if you step on them your speed gets cut in half for 10 seconds and you loose your OC...heh-heh-heh
Blue God
I would like to see a SV get struck by lightning in a thunderstorm and they get disoriented for a good few moments.
Shadow2321
The lightning could occour in London, cuse I heard I rains alot there in real life..
PENGUIN
In New York you could have the odd suicide bombing...or just regular bombs falling from random places for you politically correct folks.
Drachenmaster
I've got one for Tokyo, but it's obvious and will probably sound stupid, but here I go anyways. What about having Godzilla (or some other giant monster) attack the field and hit random areas with beams of energy (doing around 3500-4500 AP damage per hit).
Shadow2321
Those two ideas sound pretty good, IMHO. Hey, I got another Idea! you could trade over paint jobs, too!!!!
nacota
ok now people are just getting silly. putting godzilla into a phantom crash game is like putting bugs bunny into a chinese soap opre. although the lighting sounded like a great idea but it would have to have a low chance of hitting you. the traps idea sounds good too, i would love to be able to set a large landmine and have my enemy blow up up as he chased me. i know this will probably sound weird but how about a ball and chain type of weapon. kinda like a melee weapon but you could shoot the ball out at a short distance and then draw it back in by pressing a buttone again.
Shadow2321
the shot could replace the pounce if that happened. But I still think trading Paintjobs and music would be cool. I mean come on, haven't you once wanted Siba's music in SLAI? I know I have.

They claim that more powerful SVs were created for the military, so perhaps they should expand on this. They could create military grade SVs for combat in the arenas, or else perhaps create an alternate storyline for a military campaign using SVs. I mean, come on, if SVs are incorporated into the military there has to be some sort of war going on.
Shadow2321
They WERE created for the military. (WARNING: HISTORY OF PC) After this war, places of Tokyo were uninhabitable. Then civilians got their hands on the SVs, and fought each other in thoe areas with them. This became known as rumbling. Eventually, they made a sport out of it. Now its 2071, and rumbling is a HUGE sport. Also in SLAI the SVs are radio-controlled because of injuries pilots would suffer. *glares at Texienia*
Ky Kiske
You can still control them from in the SV, though. It'll happen later in the plot, trust me.
Avatar_Zero:
Yeah, but I thought I saw somewhere that the ones used for rumbling were weaker, or at least not the same. IIRC, the ones used in the military were larger/stronger (?). I wouldn't mind it if the SVs had more armor in general (although it might affect level design if they are much larger). Moreover, they should actually have this play a role, like higher ranking rumblers are scouted by the military, or something.
Numoso
what I would like to see is Airborn SVs, I mean, common, you could like come into the arena on ground then like transform if you want to an airborn one.

the military idea sounds good, but I'd think that a military SV would have very high defense, but be slow as hell >_< lol
Shadow2321
I'm not so sure about that... maybe you need a certain leg type for airborn, kinda like hovers only there would be propellers and jets... but could you control altitude?
